The Founders

We have always worked in various parts of the creative industries...

Eleanor

Eleanor has  extensive experience in the creative industries having graduated from the Royal College of Art, London in 2001 to set up her first studio specialising in commissions in large scale architectural glass artwork for high-end private and public spaces, winning numerous awards.

She gathered further experience and skills working in prop and model-making for film and TV, as well as teaching in further education.

Through her background she has built a comprehensive understanding and skill base of the visual creative process and production which is coupled with an inventive twist.

She is co-founder, artist and head of production at Mini-Tonic.

Trevor

Trevor’s background is in feature film visual effects. With over 20 years of experience,  Trevor has worked directly with many of the world’s greatest film directors. As lead digital artist, he has lead teams to create effects shots for numerous films including Hunger Games, Catching Fire and three of the Harry Potter movies.

Having been responsible for a high standard of finish on complex effects shots, he has developed a keen attention to detail and is experienced in adapting processes and programs to achieve the best results.

His approach to every project is imaginative which ensures an original outcome for each.

He is co-founder, director, artist and lead animator at Mini-Tonic.

The Company

Mini-Tonic - the definition: short-form storytelling as a remedy or ‘pick-me-up’

We have been operating on and off as Mini-Tonic for our third-party-artwork client work for some time (within Tapocketa), and now we have finally decided to just go for it. 2023 is the year for Mini-Tonic to step up out of the shadows and into the light!

We are really excited to be able to offer our inventive and versatile approach to work on your content creating moving imagery from a static artwork. We always do our best and hope to create something special for you :-)

We love working with people who also enjoy their work and on projects that have a positive impact on both others and the environment around us, from the thoughtful to the funny. Unethical projects won't impress or interest us. And an open and welcoming appreciation for all things equal (ie everyone) is the way to go. We recognise and value top quality and skilled work and believe that adventure lies in the opportunities, collaborations and discoveries yet to come.
