‘The Final Game’ publishers wanted to showcase the release of the latest in a popular series of darkly comig thrillers by Caimh McDonnell. Caimh, when not writing for comedy greats or performing his own stand up has created a huge following for his twisted humour as a writer.
We created the trailer in close consultation with his publishers, providing a storyboard for approval before going on to create the animation itself. Tapocketa used a combination of 2D and 3D effects to create the rolling dice, the key elements of the cover. We also created and animated the silhouettes of the key characters from the novel.
