Reef Life: Animated Book Cover

We animated the beautiful underwater photography of Alex Mustard MBE for the publication of Reef Life by Professor Callum Roberts.

We were provided with the Photoshop file of the book cover and we isolated the turtle element and animated it along with some supplementary bubbles. We then put this onto a book and background that we generated and added the final overlay text.

I am currently working through a part time illustration course, as well as working in the film industry as a freelance visual effects compositor (i.e. digitally combining all the elements to create a final effects shot in a feature film).
